‘Turd Teddies’ by Squiz 3D

Introducing our Turd Teddy fridge magnets! These beautifully handcrafted fridge magnets come in an endless range of colour combinations, so we have grouped these colours into categories to help with your choice. By the process of creating these cute and colourful fridge magnets, each and every Turd Teddy is absolutely unique. They are all hand made and the colours are hand selected, then sanded, cleaned, and processed also by hand. PLEASE NOTE; You will receive your Turd Teddy from the colour range you selected, but it may not necessarily be one that was photographed.

What’s a Turd Teddy and why did we call it that name? In order to make our extensive range of Flexi-Toys we run a large print farm of multi colour 3D Printers. Every time that a colour change is required during a print, the 3D printer will purge out previous colour then purge in the new colour. This is what’s called in the industry as ‘Printer Poop’. This can happen hundreds of times during one print cycle thus creating lots of waste. We use PLA plastic, which is plant based and most importantly it’s recyclable. We melt this printer poop into silicon moulds to create secondary products thus eliminating waste and costs, AND helping the environment. The first store to take on this product loved the name ‘Turd Teddies’ after the process was explained to them, so the name stuck.

Packaging and Processing
All critters will be packaged carefully to ensure the journey to their destination will be safe and sound. Packing and posting is done within two days of receiving your completed order, with exception of weekends and public holidays where we will process the very next available business day.
